2) Auto insurance is big business and businesses are looking to make as much money as they can. To put it bluntly, the auto insurance companies are looking to take as much money from you as possible while paying as little money to you as possible. This is a business fact of life.

3) Another factor to consider is the amount of money a company spends on advertising. Those television commercials promising cheap auto insurance are quite expensive. Remember, every dollar the auto insurance company spends comes out of its customers pocket. Just remember, a company that spends a lot of money advertising cheap auto insurance might end up costing more money later.

4) Finally, dont underestimate the dollar value of great service. In my world, time and hassle equal money. If I find myself spending a lot of time and hassle with a business such as auto insurance its true cost is rising. Just dont find yourself getting so excited about the promise of cheap auto insurance that you overlook those other important details.
